Help with sashing color please

I think I posted this a while ago without the pictures - GRRR. This is my first Stack 'n Wack. I've got the blocks done but am sort of stumped on what color for the sashing (my worst part of quilting - choosing colors). I was thinking white - what do you think? Thanks!

White blue pink and yellow are all in the quilt. I would go for white personally. Because the other colours would be difficult to match. I would also put a border of white same size as sashing followed by a border of the starch and whack fabric you used.

White sashing would give it a light and airy summer feel. If you wanted to go darker I might try the black that is in the fabric, it would give it a more stained glass look.

I would go with the white also. Or you could use a pale sky blue

I would probably go with a grey to tone down the sashing & keep the focus on the beautiful bright floral print. White sashing will compete with the print for attention. The other option, if you really wanted to bring out one of the colors more than the other 3 in the quilt would be to pick a tone of that color (e.g., a greyish pink).

I am thinking the blue background color to make them float onto the quilt. I think the white would be too stark and the only white is the spray in the design. I don't think you want to accent that, do you? Also consider setting them on point, I think that would be pretty.

Take them to a quilt shop....audition them on different colors and see which one makes them pop. More than once, a customer brought blocks in thinking they wanted XXX color, only to find something else looked better....

I would try all the colors in the quilt such as a soft mauve, gray or yellow and see what looks most pleasing to you.

RedGarnet....setting them on point sounds interesting but I've never done that...don't know how. Maybe I'll look for a tutorial on it. Thanks!
