Fold & Sew
Hi everyone,
I have made some samples of the fold and sew blocks. I really like the idea of using the 10", 5"and 2" squares. She has so many different blocks to try. My next project will be to make a small wall hanging. You can make a quilt as you go adding 2 1/2 stripes to the blocks. You can also quilt or embroidery on the blocks as you go. I will post some pictures of them later today. To all the Mother's out there I wish you a Happy Mother's Day!!!!! Thanks, Sunnydays Kathy |
I've used Fold and Sew for many small quilts. It's fun. I'm a mom so thank you for the good wishes to day!

I have never heard of fold and sew before. Will await the pictures.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you end up with a double thickness of fabric where the center square is centered over the larger square? I'm referring to the square in a square from Quiltmaker Magazine.

I went and watched the video. WOW! I am going to try that. I have a baby quilt to make and that looks like something I want to play with.
