I am a new quilter and new to this Board. I would like to do a patriotic quilt and donate to the Wounded Warriors. Could anyone recommend an easy but beautiful pattern that I might try? Thank you :)

Welcome from Laughlin NV. They have an active quilter's guild in Havasu whose main show is around the first of the year I think. There is at least one quilt shop in town too. Betcha they could help you out too. Welcome to the board. You will learn a lot here. Enjoy your new hobby.
