LED lightpad-Artograph 930 vs Litup A4?
Has anyone used either one or both of these LED lightpads? I'm having ergonomic issues with using the window as a light box, and trying to decide which LED lightpad to buy. Also unsure of what size of either brand to buy. I want to use it for applique and medallion style quilts. I have vision issues as well, and thought that maybe the adjustable lights on the LED Litups might be an advantage over the LED Artographs, which only have one setting. Thanks!

I have not used either of those brands, but do have one called Light Master LM-303 12"x17". It comes with a 12 volt DC connector & 100-240 volt AC adaptor unit. I like it very much and have used it for applique projects. Its nice and bright but easy on the eyes.

I have an Artograph which I like very much. I purchased it from Dick Blick after reading a lot of reviews on the website.

Don't know about these, and just use my dining table with glass top and a portable light underneath

My LQS started carrying a light box of some kind, looks like an enormous iPad. I have no idea what brand it is. I choked when I saw the price. My dining table is wood, so I pull it apart as if I was going to insert the center leaf, stick a piece of framing glass over it, and put a lamp under it. Voila - instant light box.

You can also purchase a piece of plastic at Lowe's Lumber (in the back with all their wood products) and it is not extremely expensive. They will cut it to any size you need.

I bought the largest size led light pad I could find on Amazon. It was much cheaper than anywhere else, and has been invaluable. Mine does have an adjustable light, which is useful when I want to see what I'm doing on the top layer. It's only 1/2" thick. I don't recall what brand, though.
