Searching for a Quilt Pattern
I saw this quilt on the Amish Country Lanes website and would love to find it. Supposedly it is a Judy Martin quilt pattern but it isn't on her website. (unless I simply overlooked it). I would love to find this pattern. It is a variation on the Colorado Log Cabin and this is the layout I really would like to use.

I am pretty sure this pattern is covered in Judy's log cabin book. You should see if your library has it.
https://www.amazon.com/Judy-Martins-...in+quilt+books Edited to add, the setting may be different in her book but that is just a matter of turning the LC blocks. You could also draft it out yourself as it is pretty much your basic LC with sashing and cornerstones to form the stars. |
Yes, looks like Colorado log cabin. From her book "Scrap quilts"
https://www.amazon.com/Scrap-Quilts-...ds=judy+martin eta: I also thought it was in one of her log cabin books, but I just looked and Colorado Log is not repeated there. |
great quilt, and easy to draft yourself. the stars are made by snowballing the 4 corners of the sashing strip with the center being a cornerstone in the sashing

There's also this earlier post with the block layout:

check for Eleanor Burns Log Cabin Star quilt pattern.

The magic in this quilt is in the coloration. It doesn't look exactly like the typical Colorado Log Cabin quilt because the quilter used fairly light fabrics on much of the "dark" side of the log cabin, accentuating the cross and stars in the center. I think it's beautifully done.

Evy, as mentioned by Feline Fanatic I just checked my Judy Martin book and yes it shows on the front cover, called Timberline Log Cabin and you'll find it on page 40. There might be some variation to the borders but basically the same. Judy's book gives lots of variations to setting the blocks and borders. Well worth getting the book in my opinion.

I can certainly see why you'd like to make it! I hope you do and can post a picture for us.
