Flying Geese - Which method do you prefer?

I am making a quilt with quite a number of flying geese and was wondering what method other members have found to be the easiest and the most accurate. I've used the stitch and flip method using a rectangle and two squares with good results but the negative for me is the wastage of the corner triangles that are cut off. Granted, this does result in a small HST which can be used for another project but realistically, when would that happen? :p

The second method is the no waste method using 1 square with four smaller squares.

I've never used this method before and would be interested to hear which one other members prefer, especially with regards to accuracy?

This one shows the no waste method I like. It is a little down on the page

I like the no waste method and make them bigger and then use the Deb Tucker ruler to square it up.

I like the no-waste method. It takes a little getting used to, but once you have it, it's great.
Another method is "one-seam". Three rectangles are put together, the center one is folded and placed 1/4 inch from the end, and the one seam is sewn. Then you open out the fold of the center and that makes the middle of your goose. That one would use more fabric, as the goose is three layers.

Definitely the no waste method! Try it with scraps.

Eleanor Burns method is all I use.

I use the Eleanor Burns ruler, which is a no waste method.

Eleanor Burns or no waste method. Depending on how fast I want it done. I'm more accurate with the EB method but it's a little bit slower for me.
