HI! I fix
Hi! I fix vintage sewing machines for free. I also teach sewing. My quilting goes back 30 years. Unfortunately, I lost 22 in a fire in '96. All quilts since have been gifts.

Welcome aboard. I can't imagine losing so many quilts in a fire. Grandad lost his Sears house in a fire. Not the fault of Sears.
He was in the hay business and had a commercial sewing porch on the back of the house, but that part of the job as gone before I was ten. |
Be careful here....when I first clicked on post, my finger hit sewing lady, not hi and I wad taken to an eBay ad for sewing machines...so make sure your "pointer" is on hi!
not a sewing machine collector, but those who are will probably keep your ad in mind. |
Welcome to the board. I used to live in Largo, now in Homosassa, and have some old machines. As far as I know they all work, but no room to sent them up and use them right now. Merry Christmas.

Welcome to QB! Since joining here, I've gotten the vintage sewing machine bug. I now own a Rocketeer and a Featherweight in addition to my mom's 301A that I learned to sew on and my "new" (from 1998) Bernina. lol
