HI! I fix

Welcome aboard. I can't imagine losing so many quilts in a fire. Grandad lost his Sears house in a fire. Not the fault of Sears.
He was in the hay business and had a commercial sewing porch on the back of the house, but that part of the job as gone before I was ten.

Welcome to QB! Since joining here, I've gotten the vintage sewing machine bug. I now own a Rocketeer and a Featherweight in addition to my mom's 301A that I learned to sew on and my "new" (from 1998) Bernina. lol
