Name for this pattern?
I saw this quilt on etsy and wonder if there is a name for the pattern.
https://www.etsy.com/listing/2524837...uilt?ref=hp_rv Also, can quilt patterns like this with squares and rectangles be designed in EQ 6? Thanks |
I don't know the name of the pattern, but it looks easy. I am sure that could be designed in EQ6.

It looks similar to the one tallchick posted this week under the thread -I love big blocks. She gave the name of the pattern as Patio from Happy Zombies.

I have seen that pattern and it isn't quite the same.

I know that EQ7 is the latest program, but I have EQ 6 and really don't know where to start to design quilts like this.

It looks pretty close to Modern Rose Garden, albeit with a border:

It might be her own pattern. There's a similar pattern on moda bakeshop.
You can draw it on graph paper if you don't know how to use EQ. I would start with a 8 or 9 or 10" square for the big one. The triangle width plus side of the square plus sashing should total the big square. Hope this helps. Forgot to insert the link. http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/09/...pal-quilt.html |
Thank you ecmoore - It's very similar, but not the same.

Thank you EasyPeezy. I did see that quilt on Moda Bakeshop, and will use it as a example for the quilt I'm interested in if I can't find the pattern. I think the quilt that I linked to is made with a layer cake.
