Lollypop tree quilt

Has anyone made the Lollypop tree applique quilt by Kaffe Fasset? I love doing hand applique and thought this would be a cute project, but don't know anyone who had made one. I'm curious as to what the pattern contains. I've never seen it in a shoppe, I've only seen it online for $30. If anyone has made one, can you post a picture and let me know if you liked doing this project? Thanks!

I've seen that quilt pattern somewhere - always thought it needed more blank space in each block - each block is great but too busy wen all put together.

The Lollipop Trees pattern is actually by Kim McLean from Australia. She just used Kaffe Fabrics. There are very few shops in US that carry her patterns.

WoW!! The colors are amazing.....I love applique...but as Nancy said, complicated and huge! I'll have to wait on this one I think!!

If you did fused applique and top stitched the edge with invisible thread, then it looks doable. If you did needle turn, it would be a long term project. Taking one block at a time as your take along project would work.

Would be fun to do just one block as a hanging!

Thanks everyone for your response. I guess no one has made this quilt....didn't realize the pattern wasn't sold here. I agree, it's very busy, far too busy for my taste. Not a fan of Kaffe Fasset's fabrics, they seem a bit manic to me, especially in such large doses, but I thought it would be fun to make, even if only a few blocks were used. I think, overall, it would be far more interesting if fewer patterns were used and there was more neutral space. Guess I'll just have to find some other long term project to keep me busy.:)

Holy cow...they are gorgeous but a labor of love for sure. I wouldn't be able to tackle anything like that until I retire.
