martelli rotary cutter
Just got it and wanted to pass along I really like it has anyone else got one?
it fits natural hand position requires less pressure to cut perfect for hands with arthritis or hand fatigue automatic release guard |
I wondered how they were. They are are on sale through tomorrow at 50% off. I'm debating on getting one and some new blades.

I love love love my Martelli cutter! I can cut all day, very accurately, with no fatigue or stiffness. I've tried pretty much every rotary cutter available, and the Martelli is definitely my favourite. The only thing I don't use it for is paper piecing, where I prefer the Kai cutters that automatically retract the blade.
I also really like their blades. At half price, they're a great deal. |
Is it the one with the handle that is on the side of it as in the Amazon picture? And can it only use Martelli blades? Thanks!

You don't have to have the Martelli blades, but I find that they work better and last longer.

Yes, it's the one with the handle on the side. I bought one but haven't received it yet. I'm excited to try it!

I love mine too, and i tried quite a few(will be donating them ) , i just ordered the 60mm

Love my Martelli rotary cutter. I've had it for 3 years. The spring on it stretched out and I emailed them and they sent another one, no charge.

I really like it, too. I found some blades on Amazon recently that were cheaper than Olfas and they stay sharp longer. The Martelli blade has a round hole in the center and most other blades have kind of a square hole, but either one fits the cutter. I think the one with the round hole moves a little more smoothly.

I love mine too. I have a very small hand and as soon as I put my hand on it, I knew it was the one I wanted. I bought it I think at the quilt show some years back in Lancaster, Pa. I bought a ruler at the time too.
