Does anyone have any insight as to this machine? I cannot find and information about it.

It looks very promising. How is the cam function? I'm thinking if it takes double or single layer cams. If it's an all metal model it should be well worth investing some time and effort in it. It reminds me a bit of a Necchi BU.

I found a similar machine in a blog.

I'll have to check my machine more closely, but isn't that the Montgomery Wards emblem? Mine is not the same model but has a similar crest. It takes little bitty cams. I've been told that it was made by Happy Sewing Machine Company.

Here's the crest. Happily, it was already out on the bench.

Yeah, that little badge on the lower part of the pillar isn't the name of the machine, that's where the model # and any marketing phrases would go. Bkay is right about it being a MW machine, but that doesn't tell you much, I know. If you can find a JA number under it somewhere, we might be able to at least give you the manufacturer.

soo jealous. My MW emblem on my 15 clone is a cheap sticker.

for Janey Sorry it is cluttered.

To the original poster. The knob in front of and left of the pillar is the feed dog drop knob.

That is a serial # it is not important unless your machine gets stolen. The number is under the bed. Usually about the center of the area the fabric would flow over. Like this..

Millions of these were made. Few folks use or collect them. Value isn't very much unless you find that one person who wants' one "Just like her Grandma's" Use it and enjoy it.
