I Spy ready to quilt
4 Attachment(s)
Been dealing with Snowmaggden since Feb. 2nd here in beautiful PNW so I was left with nothing but sewing to do since we were completely snowed in and unable to get off our hill. Hubby tried to plow driveway (400ft downhill with 90 degree turn before last uphill) and had to abandon attempt with tractor stuck at the turn. So was left with trying to keep decks and walkways to wood shed shoveled.
My reward for finishing outdoor chore was to sew, sew and sew. I found this panel at by Robert Kaufman and free pattern on their website and knew I had to make it for grandson. Just need to get it sandwiched and then I'm going to quilt using my Westalee rulers. Today I am going to enjoy my first trip off our property in 14 days, as my son said Freedom!!!!!!!! |
Great I Spy quilt

Beautiful snow . . . if it were 90 degrees! I really get antsy after 5 days, can't imagine 14 days. Congratulations on passing the sanity test!
Beautiful quilt! I like your take on the I Spy design. |
i love the bacon and eggs! nice quilts

Stunning. YOu accomplished a lot. I had three days of sewing when Chicago was in the deep freeze. Sometimes it's a good thing when the weather forces us inside to finish our home projects.;)

Snow looks pretty in your pictures and cute top!

What a fun quilt. You did a great job with it. It's sure to be a hit with your grandson. Your photos of the snow look like what I see outside my window. We weren't house-bound as you were, but it still proved daunting to get around. Glad you had a terrific project to keep you busy.

That is gorgeous! Stupid question from a newbie: did you have a pattern you followed?
