Viking 19e Special
 

Hello! Does anyone know the difference between the Viking Husqvarna 19e special and the 19e zigzag? I have the special but can only find a manual for the zigzag. My machine was purchased with only the cover of the manual for the 19 special. I guess it was a teaser. 🙂

I can't help as don't have any Viking machines. I only found a few threads here on QB that mention the 19e. From the pictures I have seen, I can't see any differences between the two machines.

There might be a diffence to the cam stack function in the back on the special version. I can't remember it at the moment, but they are much the same machine. If you ever have problem with stuck in reverse or shifting stitch patterns it's usually all about cleaning and oiling, turning nobs, pushing the reverse button and test sewin. In stubborn cases repetitive action does the trick, but it can be a bit time consuming.

Hi! I had one of these as a Xmas present from my husband and I love it! From my research I believe there was no specific manual for our machine and the one for the zig zag is the one to use. If you have any questions re the machine I’ll do my best to help.

I was able to find an original manual thanks! It says 19e special right on it. I downloaded the zig zag one just so I could read it and see the difference.
