4 Generations Tabletopper
1 Attachment(s)
Over the last few months I have seen many projects on the "net" made using the International Sisters block and I have been drooling over it and knew that something had to be made using that block. I did not want to make a quilt so a tabletopper was my next choice.
I did 4 blocks only as there are 4 generations of women in my family. The top block represents my mother and she is dressed in a small floral print to honour the many hours that she spends in her garden. The block underneath her on the left of the screen represents me - I have a love of aqua and sea colours. The block next to me on the right of the screen represents my daughter-in-law as blue is her colour. The one all in pink represents my 6 year old granddaughter. This turned out nicely. I like the representation of your family

What a wonderful keepsake & heirloom you have made representing your generation women. Will you label it on the back explaining the meaning of this precious item? Thanks for sharing.

That's beautiful and I love the story behind it.

Love it! I have made a lap quilt and a queen size quilt using this pattern. I just knew it as the African Queen pattern. I would post pictures if I knew how. BrendaK
