zigzag extension ?
I saw this video on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVYUBe0DtiY
It has a zigzag extension (160620) for a singer 201. Can I use this extension, if I can get hold on one, on my 15k27. I would love to have zigzag on my hand-crank machine. |
There are several listed on ebay.

.... and there is another zigzag attachment youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNswoF0cGNQ There were several Singer zigzag attachments made for straight stitch low shank machines. Some did decorative stitches with cams. I believe some of the automatic zigzag attachments were for straight stitch slant shank machines. Greist made some as well that will work on the old Singer machines. I have heard that the Swiss zigzag attachments work a little better, but many have said they weren't all that impressed with the zigzag attachments. Here are some links to various Singer zigzag attachments https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/121706 https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/160985 https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/160990 https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/160991 https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/simanco/161102 Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. You will need to make sure that the attachment is for a low shank - side clamp machine. Greist also made a zigzag attachment for top clamp machines, as seen at https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...t-t241233.html

ok.
If you can't move the needle than move the fabric. No that is not my way of zigzag. Thank you for the answers. |
