Godzilla Featherweight

I watched an auction in which there was a 1940 Featherweight with the crinkle finish that was called a Godzilla. It sold for $2025.00! Is this a rare Featherweight? I had never seen one with the crinkle finish.

wow, at that price, I'd have been sorely tempted to bid! But that is because I've seen them go for the $4,000 range, so $2,000 is quite a deal.

Will counterfeits follow? Maybe I should learn the process... Just kidding.
