Hi, I'm new to the Forum

I purchased a wizard precision sewing machine at a church sale. It has the lifetime guarantee receipt included, LOL the purchaser bought it August 23rd 1958. It's the gray and white model. I am wondering if anybody knows where I could get an instruction booklet or at least information on how to thread it properly? Any help offered would be greatly appreciated!

is the link that popped up when I put your machine's info in the duckduckgo web site. There were other sites but this was the first. Hope this has what you are looking for--also had several sites for replacement parts. Good luck and hav Lots of fun sewing. Or just having it to sit and look pretty.

Welcome to Quilting Board. There is a section here specifically for vintage sewing machines https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...thusiasts-f22/ There were many different machines that were sold by Western Auto with the "Wizard" badge on them. There can be the same machine but with different names on them. Serial numbers do not help with finding much about these machine from that time frame. Sometimes there is a model number on the badge or plate with the serial number which might be helpful. Also there could be a JA or JC with a number after it that is either stamped or cast somewhere on the bottom of the machine.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...d-t312607.html

Another way to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/showpo...postcount=1143
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...s-t318147.html

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.
