There is no charge. All the patterns recommended will be free from sites that do not charge fees or require people to sign up for memberships or anything else. The only cost to us is our time and the fabric/tools we use to make the blocks. I made mine 6.5 inches. I have some other practice blocks I made with 30's fabric that are the same size. If possible I will make each month at this size and see what I have at the end of the year to put together.
