I started this quilt when I was 19!! Finished it when I was 35!!

Its completely hand pieced over paper and hand quilted!

It would not have taken me that long but it was in a bag for years - sometimes 4 or 5 years before I worked on it and then I would blast at it.....

I am now making another one for my Best Friend - she had been married for 10 years when I finished this one and we joked that if I started right away I should just mange to get it done for her Silver Wedding!!! I'm on target - and have another 9 years!!!

What do you mean "hand pieced over paper"? It almost looks like a yo-yo.

Love it! Excellent work. Is your current project like this one too? I have so much respect for anyone who tackles this type of quilt. Perhaps its my inexperience, but this just looks so hard.
