Interesting. I'm not sure what I would use it for though.

They would probably be nice for homemade cards or fabric postcards.

----------------------------------------------------- Some years ago, in Threads magazine maybe, I read about a trick that some REAL expensive men's suits used to keep the creases sharp. They ironed the creases in before putting the pants together. Put the iron on glue threads on the BOBBIN and WASH OUT thread on the spool. Then sewed the crease very, very carefully from the TOP, then turned it and re-ironed it. That way, the creases would stay put for years, or how ever long that type wore their expensive suits. When I tried to find it at our little JoAnnes' they didn't know what I was talking about. Might have to search the Internet. I have problems with remembering to be a lady and not wear out my creases with kids and dogs and sitting in the car with a cup of coffee dripping on my lap. |
I have used this and it doesn't stick well. I ended up using a zig zag on it, but it really adds to the project.

Iron on thread in bobbin, when sewing on binding, allows you to press the binding to the back, so that the thread fused to it then holds it while you hand or machine stitch.

I guess you could decorate after quilting. God bless. Penny

On an art quilt, the possibilities are endless. I might try this on one of mine soon. Thanks for the link.
