Who's ready to come and visit for Tea..... :-) Thought I would share my new table topper with you....
The fabrics for this was given to me a couple of years ago by a special friend.....from CLOTHWORKS - "LAND OF TEA"....I had the piecing done - did that last Summer...but needed to get the binding done... I did a pieced binding with all of the pieces left from the top...it is handquited with a running stitch around the motifs and around the blocks in general..it was a lot of fun to do.. It measures about 40" x 45" and will be a table topper....I see this being a fun table cloth for a brunch on the patio... I have some pieces of the teapots and cups left which I am turning into hotplate holders....great for serving brunch.... And the offer still stands - come for tea :-) |
Love the running stitch. Great job!

Very Cute!
Tea and cookies would be wonderful with this on the table. |
Real cute - I like your backing fabric as well.
|
That is such a cute table topper. I love the tea pots. The backing is pretty too. Your quilting looks great. Love the quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I would so love to drop in for tea!
You've done a beautiful job of making darling fabric look even better. |
That is an adorable quilt--great for a table topper.

Thanks everyone - it was a blast - I think cookies and tea would be what this calls for as well..
That backing fabric that everyone likes is a fabric that I had for such a long time and didn't know what to do with it - I had a whole bolt of that - well, I used it on a full size quilt a while back - and it was perfect for that - then I used the balance on this one - the colors just seems to fit right in...I love finding thing in my stash to complete projects...... :-) |
I'm there!! Any scones per chance??? :D
