Ok. I have been putting off finishing this top because of all the blankety blank triangles! I made them the way the pattern said to, but I am sure they aren't all exactly perfect. I have had such a hard time getting them to line up and still keep their points. In some places on the back, there isn't even a scant 1/4" on half the seam. Ugh. It is a Buggy Barn quilt and my 5yr old has been asking me if it was done yet since I first started collecting the fabrics. Will it ever be done? I don't want to have to fight with the triangles and the border, but if I don't put on a border, the binding will be a pain. These pics were all taken before the epic battle to add the triangles to the blocks. And I changed the layout a bit. Now the blues backgrounds are where the red ones were in these pics. I will post pics after I get off my butt and finish the stupid thing!

Just bite the bullet, finish it and let you kid love it.! I think it is so cute. Lighten up. You should see some of the quilts my grandmother pieced. No points meet all points cut off. It still keeps me warm and I love them.

It's for your daughter, she will love it no matter what. Don't fret over it. It looks great to me!

Great looking quilt...just stitch it up & be done!

You know what? I like the triangles. They are quirky, like the fabrics in the boats. Those aren't cut straight, and the triangles match that. I think it looks great!

Love the pattern! The quilt will be loved no matter what! :)
