i was in my local quilt store the other day and they had cutting boards that said they sharpen your rotary blade when you cut with them I don't remember the brand - but has anyone used these and do they work?
|
I don't know, but I would like to know, also!

I have seen rulers that sharpen your blade when you cut with them, but not cutting boards...
|
Just read about them in my McCalls Quiting magazine. It is supposed to have diamond dust or carbon something or other stuff on the side of the ruler. I have no idea if this would really work.

I have been trying to remember who makes that ruler and cutter, but my brain isn't working LOL
That cutting board/pressing board combo sounds interesting :D:D:D |
Sounds interesting, but I don't understand how they would work.

I was looking thru my Keepsake quilting book and saw 'The Cutting edge Rulers' - these are rulers with a diamond powder encrusted edge that maintains sharpness of your rotary blade..
