Kluski
Boil Kluski noodles as directed on package.
Saute' 1/2 onion, add 1 can sauerkraut (Bavarian), add 1/2 pkg mushrooms in large pan. Cook till it just begins to brown.
Add cooked noodles and 1/2 to 1 pkg cottage cheese.
Gently mix together and serve when heated through.

Sounds like a german dish my grandma might have made, but what are kluski noodles?

sounds good to me, but I don't know what the noodles are either... :D:D:D

I looked them up, are they similar to Italian gnocchi?

It's only 7:30 a.m. and I'm ready to run into the kitchen and fix this recipe for breakfast. Thanks, can't wait to try it.

The kluski noodle that I am familiar with is just a flat noodle. You may be able to find them at your local grocery.
You can use egg noodles instead if you like.

Thanks....BF will LOVE this!

kluski noodles are like the ones in Campbell's chicken noodle soup.

The very best Kluski noodles we were addicted to were purchased in the Chicagoland area by a family owned Polish family. I can't find anything near that good and I'm not sure I could put cottage cheese with them. I'd like to try one spoonful first!

They are a little heavier and more like homemade noodles. Most groceries have them.

They are in the frozen food department at my local grocery stores.
