Adverts attached to members quilt photos

I have been browsing the 'What's New" section this evening, and noticed that there are adverts attached to each photo of a quilt posted by a member.
Generally, I notice one advert banner on each page, but having adverts attached to each quilt photo is really annoying, and makes me less inclined to check out these posts.

Just wondering therefore, if this is a new policy of QB?

I noticed this as well in some of the pictures posted. It seems to be by Ads by Kiosked and they were in the post Truckers quilt and others.

Definitely download an ad blocker. I use Firefox as my browser, and there is a great Adblocker Plus for Firefox. It's free but you can give a donation if you like.

    I'm totally spoiled...no ads!

I also use ad blocker plus. It's so great not to see ads.

I have never noticed this before, my ad blocker is on, and I don't mind the one advert banner on the page. Tuned in just now, and whatever was happening to the photos yesterday is not happening today, and it is just lovely to see the photos 'naked' if you will!

A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

One post I tried to view yesterday had the ad displayed over part of the message and made it impossible to read.

When I accessed this post, my AdBlocker says that it blocked 19 ads.
Even on this page, 12 ads are blocked.

to minimize ads make sure you are logged in before viewing.
once you are logged in the ads between comments within a thread should disappear.
that's one perk for registered members.

I'm having the same problem. It started a couple of days ago. I'm logged in and there are 4 ads on this page as I'm replying.

Same here. Ads everywhere. I also really dislike when words within my post (or worse, within a post title) become an ad.

I know QB is not a real community and is a for-profit entity, but it's getting ridiculous.

I had been using Internet Explorer and I never got ads. I am now using Edge and there are ads between every 4 or so responses in every conversation I open. Frustrating.
