If I've done it correctly I've attached a photo - I don't see it here.... but we'll see.
It's a screen shot of today's activity - the three red circles represent previously unviewed (by me) threads. I viewed them, did not comment and left that thread. Afterwards, they each present differently on the display.
Any thoughts on why this happens? I'm trying to not repeatedly look at threads I've already viewed, but the inconsistency is puzzling.
Oh my gosh - on preview post, I can see there is an attachment....

.
if you mean bold titles to not bold, that's supposed to happen so you can tell the difference between threads you've looked at and those you haven't.
if somebody adds a comment you have not yet seen, the title will go bold again the next time it shows up on your list.

If you are referring to the 'closed' envelope icon in different colors, it just means that the red one is 'busier' than the blue one. If the threads you had read had been replied to since you left it, it would have looked like the others that you had not read, yet.

I thank both PatriceJ and OurWorkBench for the responses, that makes sense. I wish it was a little easier to see on the display, but such is life....

patience has never been one of my virtues, so i am with everybody waiting hard-to-be-patiently for the colors to change.
i have been promised and i know they are working on it.
that's all the news i have on that front.

I had it on FF but that fix took care of it.

Default Not finding Last Sign On

Perhaps I'm blind, but can't find Last Sign On. So many members like to check on their friends to make sure they are alright.
