    Default Help I am lost...

I still am having a hard time finding my way around on this new forum..
what I am looking for is the place where you would click on for a search.

We use to have a search on the top of the page when you logged in. You could just click on search and a box would come up and you could put one word in it or more and all of that would come up for you to see. Like I would put in cross quilt or shoes quilt and these would come up. then you could pick out what you wanted like a picture or how it was made and click on that and there you had it.

Is the search gone from this new forum?

if not could someone tell me how to get there? LOL I have clicked on some many things and can not fine it...I'm really lost...LOL ..but would like to know if this is still here...thanks....

Look up on the beige line above. It says "search thread". Click the little arrow next to it. Then click "advanced search" & fill in whatever you are looking for. Good luck.

For searching you can also find a text box at the end of the brown strip up above. It says
Home Resources Blogs What's New? Member List Live Chat---then at the end there is a text box and a magnifying glass. You can do a search there, or click on Advanced Search in the blue strip right below the text box--then you can narrow your search in many different ways.

Have a look at thread tools and see if you can find what you want there- it is on the right hand side of the upper border of the thread (the creamy line right under the title)

And I agree with you. This board is just plain harder to use. I keep trying like the bosses tell me do, and it is still harder to use. Its funny how I am smart enough to hold down a responsible job but not smart enough to get forum notifications from a quilting board. Oh wait, maybe the quilting board is the one that's not smart enough.
