How to search with more than one word

Is there a way to search for a phrase rather that just one word? Such as “invisible machine appliqué”?

Thanks!

Sure there is. Just type it in the search section at the top right hand of the board & see what you get!

If you want a phrase then you would include the quotation marks at the beginning and the end. However, you will get some result that the phrase in a multi-page thread that makes it difficult to find what page it is on.

I just did a search here on QB and came up with with three threads that have that term in the title, along with many other threads. (I may have used applique rather than appliqué)

I used to do google searches using the search terms and site:quiltingboard.comGoogle has changed their software and I'm having trouble typing in the search terms as it wants to keep putting words in the search box that aren't what I want. Then I try backspacing and it will fill something else in.

I can't remember the lady's thread, but she answered me back on my Cotton theory Quilt. The only problem

is I'm making a quilt and not a jacket. Thanks for the input though. I'll keep hunting til I find it. It's got to be

out there somewhere. I do have the two books that she wrote. I;m missing something, I just don't know what it is

The books came out in 2008 and 2009.

If she replied to a post or comment you made, you can go to your own profile and find it that way.

And here you go. You've only made 2 comments so it was very easy to find.

Another way to find replies to things you've commented on is to click on the upper left where it says "User CP".
