Default log cabin using jelly rolls

Can someone tell me if I can use two separate jelly rolls for making Elinor Burns Quilt in a Day log cabin? I plan on using one set of jelly rolls in meringue creamy beiges (for the light side) and the dark side I'll be using 40 brilliant brights of another pack of jelly rolls. I'm just wondering if I'll run into any kind of trouble. Has anyone ever done this before? Please email me privately because I don't always check the main site and sometimes I might add I don't know where to look for any responses. Thanks for any help you might give me.

Don't see why you can't use 2 different jelly rolls.

sure- why not? no reason to not use what ever you want. it makes no difference if you use 2 jelly rolls or if you cut strips from yardage

just remember to cut the long logs first, otherwise you might end up with pieces that are too short.

Good luck remember those light and dark values and it should be great!
