Logging on from different computer
At home when I try to read my threads I get the message that I need to sign on. And when I do (even though I have checked 'remember me') I get the error message that my user name/password is incorrect. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

I logged in and started surfing. When I came to this..wanted to share the comment that I get kicked and have to re-sign in. And guess what had happened?? I had to re-log in to post this comment! How can I ever forget my log in name and password, when I have to log in again every five minutes? Another 'bug' for the techs to work out. LOL

But I keep getting the message: you've used 1 of 5 tries, 2 of 5 tries, etc. AND I'M USING THE SAME NAME/PASSWORD THAT I USE AT WORK!!!!!! I'm going to be off for vacation/holidays rest of the week and I don't want to be home without the board or having to do a new password.

If you have your internet security set to not remember cookies, no amount of times clicking the "remember me" button is going to work. Find out how to check your cookie settings for your browser and look at the setting, it must say allow 1st and 3rd party cookies.
To those getting the error message "incorrect password" or "incorrect user name", have you cleaned out temp files and cookies lately? Also, if you're coming onto the board with an old "shortcut" or "favorite bookmark", delete it, type www.quiltingboard.com into the address bar, or click on the link right here to go there, and make it a new internet shortcut or internet favorite bookmark. Try it, and see if these tips help. I'll keep a watch for results, good luck!

I had the same problem. One try, two try, and can only try 5 times a day. They could recover your password for $9.95....don't think so. I finally made up a new name and password to join. So much for keeping me signed in all the time. I hate the changes different websites come up with.
