PM notifications

PM notifications
The notifications for PMs used to arrive on my mail server almost immediately after the PM was sent.
Now the notifications come hours or days later.
Any ideas why?
I don't recall changing any settings on anything. Same computer we've had for about a year now. Same provider(Comcast) we've had for several years.
It is not a huge problem, because I am on QB a lot - but it is a bit annoying to have a message on my mail saying I have a PM - and it's one that I looked at several days ago!

PMs and notifications are coming through immediately from another forum.
It's a bit weird to see that I have a message come through now about a PM on the QB that was sent a week or so ago.
Any ideas on why my server be selective about delaying messages about QB PMs?
