Default pop up ads

I have a lot of pop up ads on this site not so much on other sites. In fact my husband gets on a board similar to this one and he does not get the ads what is up with this site.

It is tolerable on my computer.

Dreadful when using my phone. In fact, so bade that I don't even bother to go on this site with my phone any more.

Activate a pop-up blocker in your web browser.

My system is pretty locked down with several levels of virus/malware/pop-up protections and I get zero pop-ups and the screen I see is much less cluttered than when I visit on a different system.

It isn't always as easy for me to browse places as you might think, a lot of time my sensors alert me and don't let me go forward.

I'm a bit on the excessively paranoid side of internet personal privacy/security. My husband is incredibly lax with his system (we have a firewall between us) and he doesn't seem to really get anything that interferes with his sites/system performance... but I get a lot less distractions flashing at me.

I have the same problem. Don't check the site as often as I once did because of it and also the relatively new format which is less user friendly in my opinion.

I installed an ad blocker from Chrome. It messed up my computer and I had to reset it. Could not do anything else.

I went for a long time without any pop ups. Most of mine come from google.

I only come here on my computer and have Ad Block Plus working for everything. Works wonderfully. Perhaps try that or a similar program. Good luck!
