Missing Email Reminders (aka Newsletter/Digest)
For some strange reason, I have not recieved my forum letter today. Is there a reason for this?? I am able to go to the site, but sure do miss the lead ins.
Thanks Billie G |
I didn't get my copy of the email yesterday, either.
I sent forward lots of complaints from others. I consider the emails useless junk and never use them anyway. I am not at all involved in the emailing of the digests and newsletters. The only thing I can do is send this forward. I hope they find a solution for you soon. The first and most important thing to remember is that the emails are not the board. They are only a link to a smattering of thread links. They are rarely the newest threads and barely scratch the surface of all that's available here. If you know you want to come to the board often, the emails are a waste of time. they slow you down. why wait for an email? You never need those emails to connect to the board. Just come straight to http://www.quiltingboard.com If you like starting with the sample list of links, go to the Resources tab. Make sure to keep exploring, though, so you don't miss any of the good stuff. :-) You can add it to your browser favorites/bookmarks, put a shortcut on your desktop, or (if you are a total QB junkie like me) you can make it your home page. Try using the direct route. You might find you like it better. :-) Check your junk/spam folder. Even though you have asked to receive the emails, many services treat them like junk anyway. They disable the links or send them straight to spam/junk. They sometimes don’t make it through to user inboxes – not even to the junk folders. Also, please add QB email to your safe senders list. You may already have done the following. If not, please do: Please take the following steps to add a contact to your safe senders list: 1. Open your email account (example: AOL, Gmail, Yahoo! or Outlook). 2. Locate your “address book” or “contacts”. 3. Add [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] to your address book or list of contacts. 4. Save your changes. If your email program provides for it, also add [email protected], @lifestyle.ibemail.com and @quiltingboard.com to your list of safe senders (or the equivalent). |

Question
Am I the only one who hasn't recieved the quilters message board in my e-mail the last to days???
|
maybe you are looking for it too early? they are on 'Pacific time' so if we check early in (our) morning- it won't be there....will show up later if you check back.
|
I didn't get my daily post AGAIN today, they are also NOT in spam, and I see that quite a few all over the country did not receive them yesterday either. Must be something wrong at the place where they originate from.
|
I also see that many of us rely on the daily digest email to navigate & view the board. I can vew things quickly and not spend all day on it, I have many other things to do besides sitting at this computer LIKE QUILTING. I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon.
|
I haven't gotten my daily post for the last couple of days either, I sure hope someone can straighten things out, cause it's not fun. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
|
I live in SoCal and I have not received mine either, thought at first that I had pushed the stop button on Google Chrome, Glad to hear that I am not the only one. will be watching this thread to see if there is any help to get it back
|
I am not receiving my daily digest either. I know I can go directly to site but prefer the email. It is not in spam or junk mail and have QB in contacts. What is the deal? I need my QB!

No Quilting Board in my mailbox, 2 days
This is the second day that I have not received the quilting board email. I have had to go do a search to get to the web site. My sister did not get hers yesterday, either. Anyone else? Any suggestions?
|
I too haven't received the daily digest in my e-mail. Hope someone has a solution. No changes have been made on my computer.
|
I am in FL and my sister is in PA and we haven't received ours either.

Daily news letter
Help! I have not gotten the daily E-Mail in 2 days....has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?
|
In DFW, TX, no message board. Jan 30 last one.
|
I haven't either and I don't know what to do about it. I've seen other posts here from time to time having the same problem but never had it happen to me until yesterday.

please read this previous post on the same issue http://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-help...r-t212601.html

I hadn't realized it just using an old one until you mentioned it. I check all day so I never delete the old one until the new one comes in. Mystery Yahoo hiccup

Not receiving daily emails
Help! I have been receiving the daily digest and weekly edition for several years. In fact, I was receiving both at both of my email addresses. I would be happy if you could just get it restored. Thanks.

Has the daily digest email been discontinued?
I have not gotten the daily digest email for the past two days. Has it been discontinued? I really depend in it for when I cannot get to the board every day.
