Is there a Commonly Used Acronyms thread?

I'm a newish member and keep finding out things about this board by reading old posts but haven't come across one yet (ok, I haven't looked very hard either).

I was quite active in the on-line quilting community around '95-Y2K but have only recently come back. Long story but I got into online gaming, met a hubby, finished raising a kid, yada yada-- life happened. While I was gone there are all sorts of things that happened, some with the advent of home long arm quilting and sewing machines smarter than I am.

I think I am making the correct guesses on most things but would love a reference, here or somewhere else for quilting specific terms.

Also, any other good hints/tricks for using this site. I think I'm just scratching the surface so far with just reading threads!

Thanks! Hadn't come across that one yet -- I also found this post from a thread you started (Spell it out) and the term "initialism"
https://www.quiltingboard.com/blogs/...ary-b1743.html

I might put together one for my reference eliminating the standard internet usage terms since I have those down pretty well... plus a few that are missing like E2E (EtE??) for edge to edge, or RxR/Row by Row, and a few others that maybe are regional or not wide spread yet.

It's interesting to me how language and usage evolves, especially with technology. So to use a formally well known and now rather obscure ending --

TTFN! (ta ta for now!)
