I too have noticed that the auto-notices for the thread posts have been quite slow in coming.

I just received an email for a thread post ........

.....posted on January 26th, 1:01am
.....email sent January 28th, 1:35 am

Your 14 hour delay is quick in comparison to this 48 hours as above!

Rhonda, I thought it was my dial up service which I have not cancelled but they have been coming in over 12 hours later. I found it very confusing getting emails that I have already answered.. So I changed my email to my current DSL. That was an adventure !!!

Why rely on email to tell you of new posts to your subscribed threads? Change your default thread subscription mode to "through control panel only". I come to the board many times a day anyway to check on brand new posts, so when here, I just click on "settings" and find all the news posts on my subscribed threads waiting for me.

I too have noticed they have gotten slower. Yes, i visit the Board a few times a day and look at my subscribed threads. I DO set them up as a Daily Digest to avoid multiple replies hitting my email during the day. I have been on a mission to purge emails I no longer keep up with.

Mine have been coming in slow for a while too Rhonda. Receiving PM notices more than a day later. Ellen, call me a dummy, but I always wondered how to work with the control panel feature - thanks!
