Reporting Issue Withe "Remember Me" Option
Problems:
I've had to log in 2x already even though I've checked "remember me" and didn't leave the forum
I clicked on the "open to new texts" and it went to the first entry of that thread
The option to hoover over the title to get the first line to appear isn't happening. Have to open every thread to find out what it's about
I've responded to the thread about the new format but my post doesn't appear
I'm sure there's more, just haven't found them yet.

Please tell me whether you are on a real computer or a mobile device.
Also, which browser are you using?
I want to add this to my list for the techs, but need more information.

This is what I have noticed when I use the "Remember Me" option upon login.
If I log out, vBulletin automatically clears all the cookies associated to the QB.
If there's a QB profile setting available to us to prevent that, I haven't been able to find it. I checked, and it isn't because of any of my browser settings.
I have this on my list of questions for the techs.
For all I know, it's a new requirement imposed by one or more of the crazy laws that have been passed recently by some states or nations.
If i just close the browser tab, or whole browser, without logging out I will find I am still logged in when I come back to the board.
At least, that's the way it works on my desktop and laptops.
I don't know whether that's the case on mobile devices.
That's something mobile users need to test for themselves.

I believe I've tried to access QB with my phone and had to relog in each time. I don't use my phone because the screen is too small LOL

obviously, if we log out we will have to log in again the next time we visit.
that's the way things are supposed to work.
the "Remember Me" option is similar to the "Keep Me Logged In" option we find at some other sites.
if you close the QB tab, or the whole browser, you will still be logged in when you re-open the browser and come back to the board.
it works for me in all browsers on my computer, my notebook, my laptop, and in the default browser on my Samsung Note 8.
i did need to change on setting in Chrome for it to work.
Settings
Under Autofill, Passwords
I found the QB URL listed under "Never Saved."
Once I removed it from that list, "Remember Me" worked again.

Thanks for the reminder of that. I just got Win10 and was surprised to find that feature while poking around. It definitely makes sense.
