I can't imagine the mods like to chase down dozens of spam messages across many threads, first thing in the morning or whenever they log on. It's ridiculous this morning.
Other boards have a way to block new users from posting active links. This works well, they make a post, see that there is nothing clickable in it, try again, and then give up. Instead of posting the same thing over and over all over the board.
Maybe the mods could ask the tech people to implement this?

why? so we can hear crowds of users scream bloody murder because they have to jump through more hoops to join and post?
sincere thanks for the supportive thoughts, but been there ... tried that.
it's annoying to play wack-a-spammer, but easier than the alternative.
