are you using the mobile view or the full site view?

mobile view is very plain and basic.
the background is a sort of sandy color.
full site looks like the whole board.
complete menus, etc.
because there is so much more on each page, the print is naturally smaller.
you can upload photos in full site view, but not in the mobile view.
i know absolutely nothing about iPads or similar devices.
i would think, though, that there has to be a way to make the display larger for any app or program.
of course, that will result in the need to do more scrolling left and right, up and down, etc.
maybe an idevice user can give you some advice.

Put your thumb and index finger on the screen. Spread fingers apart. It should make text larger. Pinch fingers together to make the text small again.
I use iPad for a quick check in but like the pc much better
