Keeping this board running smoothly for a company who does it for profit is not a volunteer type activity. You should be paid for what you do. When a crafts' person becomes an expert, they pass into the world of art and that deserves adequate compensation. We are always reading where this board is telling quilters not to sell themselves short when dealing with their hard work. You should not do that either. That said, thank you very much. The collective knowledge of the members of this board cannot be beat.

thank you for the thought but i absolutely prefer it this way.
if they offered a salary i would decline.
it has nothing at all to do with selling myself short.
it has to do with the freedom i have doing it this way.
besides ... no company could afford to pay me what [i think] i'm worth.
lol lol lol

For Patrice and all the other volunteers that keep this board going, I thank you and appreciate all that you do. I love QB and enjoy the articles, pictures and the amazing help from all the quilt members.

I am so glad I found this site so many years ago. I read it everyday and spend probably way to much time on here, but I am retired so it is ok. Thanks to everyone who keeps this board up and running.

Thanks to all the great volunteers on the board! PatriceJ, you rock!
That said...can we please, please, please get a "like" button or something that would approximate one? (Or is this a patented Facebook thingy?)

i have no plans to add a "like" button.
if you like something you see or read, please take a minute to post and say so.
a "why" would also be enjoyed.
