petthefabric: I love your choice of fabric, also. Lucky daughter.

This picture is the width of the twin matress top, and a little longer. It's sewn together. Now to add the skirts. The height of our bed is 24". I have plenty of yardage to add 20". Daughter said 12" or longer. What do you think?

I feel the need to go into the lion's den. My LQS had to relocate - lost their lease downtown - the landlord found it more profitable to rent to a marijuana shop. I have not been in the new store and want to check it out. Do I need anything? NO! If I go in, will I find something I want? Could be.

To help support the new location (and satisfy your curiosity) you can buy notions(ie rotary blades, needles, thread etc) and not add to your stash...just sayin' Irishrose2

Tuesday K & I went to our county's LQS because she had a birthday coupon & I had one for an enticement to come back after an absence of 2 months. I bought a yard + for a border around my Star of the Show UFO. I have some leftover fabric from the blocks, but not quite enough for the border I wanted. I also have enough for the full backing so shouldn't need anymore fabric. Hooray!

I don't need any of those, either. I could buy some plain black - they are the ones that carry my favorite - Northcutt Blackest Black. I don't have any plain white, either, but in truth, I rarely use it.
I am expecting some bad news tomorrow - I see some retail therapy coming up.
