Sync, aren’t those Easy Breezy blocks fun and they look so special put together. And QuiltingPandabear, what a lovely way to make use of some vintage linens. Great job, ladies!

Somehow I missed searching for the Easy Breezy quilt and just discovered it is a Bonnie Hunter. Should have known with all of those tiny pieces! I love your version of the quilt and .... well I have a list of UFOs and promised quilts an arm's length long, I don't think I can dive into this even as leaders/enders. None the less, it is stunningly beautiful. This might land on my "someday quilt" list.

Found the pattern! It is a leader/ender challenge from 2021! Nope, not going to start it. I just remembered that I have a leader/ender going that I haven't been adding to for a while. Oh, well next year.

Sync, congratulations, you're doing great on your UFOs, and I love your Easy Breezy quilt!

I still need to piece the back and plan to quilt that on with hand embroidery, so this is in no way hurtling towards a fast finish, especially as I pick up holiday gift making.

I'm finishing this year with 3 UFOs done, it could have been 4 but I've been really struggling with bronchitis this year. Time being spent in my sewing/dining room has been minimal but my energy is slowly coming back.

Is anyone going to start a UFO thread for 2025? Or does it have another name and I missed it?

This weekend I will be tallying up my UFOs, of which I have over a dozen, maybe more. Then writing a list of what to finish in order this year. I sometimes think I'm the queen of UFOs.

Just in case a UFO thread doesn't get started, everyone here is welcome to join us on the Fabric Moratorium. After all, fabric already sewn together is still fabric, and if you're getting it out the door, that's a win! :-)

My UFO list for 2025 isn’t too different than 2024. Maybe longer. I am doing a January task where I don’t start any new projects, just focus on some progress towards finishes.

I got a couple sets of FQs for Christmas that have me really excited about new projects, but I wanted to follow a 1 in 1 out on projects, so I am not starting a new project until I finish one.

That's great idea! I also need to adopt that resolve as I tend to flit from project to project and end up with too many PHDs that turn into UFOs.
