I have 6 done, 2 to go. When does the next batch come out Dotty? I have 2 weekends in a row of retreats coming up so plenty of time to sew in April.

QuiltingVagabond, I wish I lived where you live. I'd love to go to a retreat. We are in the midst of Spring Breakers down here, they are everywhere.

I've got another set of Dear Jane blocks done. It's keeping me motivated to work on these between working on the Harriet's Journey blocks.

Well, I finished the quilt top this afternoon that I vowed to do before starting anything else. So now off I go to cutting and stitching some HJ blocks this week-end and will try to catch up in the next few weeks.

I tried out my red fabric for a quick check for bleeding and sure glad I did. Just a light pink in the sink, so I tossed it in the washer with a color catcher. Well the color catcher did its job and is hot pink. Lovely color but glad it is not on my finished quilt. Cutting blocks tomorrow! Yeah. Should I rewash this piece using Retayne? I am not generally a prewasher so I am new at these products.

I would give it a try if the color catcher is really pink. Sometimes, I just wash it again and again till the color catcher comes clean. But Retayne does stop it faster.

Thanks Dotty, the 10th is great, and the info helps me plan my retreat projects.
