Jen Kingwell blocks and finished quilts

I agree, GW looks intimidating but isn't. Lots of people think it's hard and you need a lot of support to be able to make it but I found it not hard at all. Like with every pattern you need to read carefully and you'll be fine.

Oh, wow! Anael, I really like your use of white-o-white and all pink sashings for your LTG. As mentioned several times on this board, I am not a fan of 'random scrappy" quilts ... just too busy for my liking. You have given your quilt a very "cohesive" look ... very lovely!
BTW, Hobbykat and I will finally be kicking off our "Together via SKYPE" My Small World project in January. Stay tuned future postings :-)

Thanks Nita!!
How exciting to start a project together yet apart. I did that a few times too, it's really fun!
Can't wait to see the blocks you both are making.
I love My Small World. Still need to finish mine. It's in the UFO pile

Anita, I love your blocks. They are a great start, and I too enjoy using black and white backgrounds. I made my Splendid Sampler I and II blend with them, and there are so many to choose from these days. I'm keeping busy sewing small tumblers in Christmas scraps these days. I have a lot on my mind and lots to do with the holidays, so I find more "mindless" sewing is all I want to do. These will come together in a small scrap quilt one of these days.
