I like how you changed it up Carrie. That turned out nice. Love the purple addition with the gold mettalic. Always a good combination.

I finished one last night, finally again, but this one has been around for about 16-17 years. At least I knwo the fabric was and was assembled last year, yep during the 120 quest, but did not get it quilted till now and the binding is on. Not like the five sitting there waiting for binding. LOL My husband bought this fabric from our old business, Great American Bazaar, from a vendor there who purchased the swatches from fabric dealers. Did not have enough of each to do on their own, so why not combine fruit and flowers. I love both so seemed the best idea. The sashing is from some left over fabric I had that is from Laura Heine's fabric collection from about the same time frame. When I Lived in Billings, Montana, went to her shop all the time. When in town, I still stop in and see her beautiful work. Her shop is Fiberworks. You can view online. The borders I found on sale a couple months ago here in Spokane at Haddies. Worked for me. Now, only four more of my own sitting there ready to be quilted.

I'm amazed at what you have all accomplished, QuilterMomma. I envy your ability to get them done!

Always love it when a quilter builds on an idea. Nice jewel tones, Carrie. Must show to my junior sewer. She was pointing out fabrics in a scrappy that she likes--jewel tones for sure--hard to find in Gma's stash!

Just showed it to Emily--she says "oh cool!"

I am in still in awe of my work last year on finishes. I give credit for the current finishes to the doctor who did the back surgery, it has freed me from the great amount of pain I was in and now I can do so much more again. Now I need to get that Steelers quilt done.

What a beautiful quilts Beth! All of them are stunning but like I told you before the last one especially. Is that a hard pattern to make and what pattern did you use if I may ask?

Wow, what amazing quilts!! Fantastic work by all of you, I'm so inspired by your work.
I have just joined the Quilting Board, and have had a lovely morning looking through a couple of threads. I have only been interested in quilting/patchwork the past two years, yet still have accrued quite a lot of fabric in that time! :o
I have a few UFOs already, mainly due to having a busy life and a sore wrist that has stopped me sewing for 6 weeks...so frustrating.
The problem with going on the computer means I am getting so many more ideas that I know what to do with!
Not that I am going to stop looking and investigating, oh no!!
Some day I will be able to present you all with a completed UFO...sooner rather than later I hope!

Keiss: Welcome. This is one of my favorite threads. As they say, "So many quilts, so little time". This site is especially bad, or good depending on your point of view. Hardly a day goes by that I don't bookmark, download or design a quilt from this website.

Lovely quilt, carriem. I've always loved green and purple together.
