Kristi and Angelia, those are some fabulous quilts! I was wishing I had found this thread before I started the baby quilt I'm working on, because I could have modified the pattern I choose to match the challenge. Unfortunately, this quilt is due in a couple weeks for a baby shower so I really can't take on another new start until it is done.

Kaelyn: That's what I'm hoping to do--combine the challenges with the other projects I'll do. Thanks for the kind words.

Nice looking projects. I need to get mine out of my head and start picking and sewing fabric.

Great projects in the works. Isn't it fun to pull fabric from your stash and be creative?
I made a simple fence rail quilt for my January charity quilt. Then I just had to start this 2nd project. I thought it was going to be a pillow, but it got a bit big. So it may be a table topper for out on my screened balcony. |
I am hoping to work on mine tonight. I am piecing a back for a quilt and then I plan on doing this one. There is a specialty ruler that I think I have that I was looking for to use for this. I am hoping to do this whole project from my stash.

Welcome to the challenge meanmom. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm still working on mine--life is just a bit crazy right now.

I started my attempt at this challenge at a recent retreat. Oh what a time I had. So many people commented tha it looked like a Red Hat quilt. I'm not sure that would occur to me since I'm not a participant...anyway, I may change things up a bit. The process has been a lot of fun. Wish me luck for a pleasing result. Happy quilting.
