I am running behind now for April. Haven't even started working on a UFO. Spring is here is my excuse. LOL

Beebonnet, love your table runner.

Spring is is a good excuse to run behind on your quilting.

Love your table runner it is so sweet.

I got my blocks done for class and my border fabric cut out so I'm ok on that one.

I miscut my card trick so it's sitting on the cutting board being ignored at the moment.

The Exercise for the Art Quilt Project is prepared. And the Homework assignment is designed but I have made the templates yet.

April UFO finished

It feels so good to get another UFO finished. This one has been aging as a flimsy waiting for me to retire and get it quilted.

It's made using a free Bonnie Hunter pattern. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/string-x.html
It's a great pattern for using up scraps.

I was looking thru and see that I didn't post my March UFO finish here - this is a quilt that I will give my Mom for her 80th birthday this summer. We took a sea/land cruise to Alaska in 2012 and I had purchased fat quarters with the thought of making her a quilt. Here is the result, I used leftovers to piece the back as well.

Playwithcolor, love your quilt. Very pretty. It gives me an ideal to use up some of my scraps. Thank-you for the idea.

Sherryquilt, very creatative and pretty quilt. I like the idea. Such pretty fabric. I'm sure your Mother will like it and it should bring back lovly memories. I been to Ak 4 x's now. I love every trip. My last trip was the best. IMO AK is the most beautiful state of the Union.

Sherry I love the Alaska quilt. I went last year and still have not even started playing with the fabrics I brought home. The only thing I did was 2 wolf pillow cases.
