Finished one!!!! Now, I just need to figure out how to get the photo from the camera to this site. I know how, I just always manage to forget the camera when I go to work and then don't download the photo. You can see how I get so many unfinished quilts. I keep forgetting finish something and then start a new one!!!

Haven't been on this thread in awhile and have missed commenting on all the great finishes. I've been admiring all the beautiful results. Thanks for the show to date. The lovelies made me feel very unproductive. But, house guests kept interrupting my sewing time -- that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! :D Now that I have a break from entertaining, I can cross one more off my to-do list. This is QB's paintmejudy's Mystery Quilt Train Ride #6 from about a year ago. (I admit I am slow!)

I can FINALLY post a finished, and no longer a UFO, quilt! Started this in 2012 with my quilt guild. Got the binding on tonight. Had the quilting done by Charisma (a member of this board) and she did a fabulous job. It fits my queen size bed with plenty of hang over on both sides so I am keeping this one! I like to make my backings interesting, too so made up some blocks with some of leftover fabric. Feels so good to have one finally finished! Sigh!

So right...love to see these finishes...I'm envious of your accomplishments...kudos to you all and yes the FLW quilt should count as two...

My major accomplishment this week was filing genealogy records on cow families of our dairy herd......two 4" and two 3" 3 ring binders of past records...thankfully I keep the current animals up to date...being a farm wife cuts into my sewing time

When I looked at your quilt SandyinZ4, I am reminded of an old commercial........ Two quilts, Two quilts, Two quilts in one. :)

Sandy: Great finish! I honestly like both sides. I have come to think of the second side as an opportunity to experiment with negative spaces. Congrats on the finish.

I like to make two sides because I like to rotate my blanket so figure it would be good if quilts could do the same. I have a long way to go to catch up with some of you, though.

Here's the motorcycle quilt for my brother. I mailed it out to him this week. The basic pattern came from a catalog picture, forgot which one. i just calculated the blocks and size and selected the fabric. I enjoyed making this quilt.
