Wowser, those are beautiful. Off to my room!

Wow wonderful finishes. I've been away due to computer problems. The bag of scraps leaves today.

In the first 1/4 of the year, I went a little bonkers buying fabric for legit and not-so-legit reasons. Nothing huge, just filling in the color gaps and also fabrics that were "just because," nothing that blew the bank. But I need to use it, and have plenty, so no excuses. I believe I got the buying frenzy out of my system ...at least for now.
Here I am, signing on again for accountability. |
got out of the lqs without buying anything but passing the fat quarter shelf was hard.

Good for you tkhooper! I have a hard time passing by those nicely bundled up precuts--the jelly rolls always look so luscious esp. when they're tied up with a nice ribbon. And the fat quarter bundles all neatly tied make my mouth water. Lets not even mention those layer cakes and honey buns LOL.....

I did good today: the special-order diaper bag pattern came in to the LQS and I went (hungry) to pick it up. Ended up getting the pattern, interfacing, a magnetic snap closure, and a Halloween pattern from Bunny Hill. The Halloween pattern was my splurge since there was no fabric allowed to jump in the cart.

quiltermomma, I LOVE this quilt!! Are those dragons applique or embroidery? they are just the cutest. great job!
|
And I love your floral applique quilt too. such pretty blocks, colors and design. excellent job!

I'm cutting up UFO's and stash fabric to make a scrap/crumb quilt. Need 500 blocks. It will be a while. But I am having fun. Plan to use batting I have lying around and backing I have on a bolt in my stash. So I am definitely committed to your memorandum.
