Gleeful and downright giddy! That was my feeling when I got the order from Connecting Threads last year. Didn't need it - had no project in mind, and bought it anyway without a tiny hint of guilt. Enjoy your bounty, Altairss.

Madquilter, thank you for the tip about not using the auto-lift. I recently purchased the rulers but have not played with it yet. I plan on playing with the rulers as soon as I finish quilting my current project. I don't want to practice on this quilt as it is a gift. This site is sooooooo full of soooooooooo much useful information. Thanks all!

The one thing to watch out for is that you can't lift the foot and drop the needle at the same time or you have a collision. I just make sure to not use the automated foot lift when I have the Westalee ruler attached. Easy-peasy.

Thanks Rob and Martina, I will definitely check out those videos and go play a new game with my machine. Can't wait to give it a try.

A total amount of nearly 4 yards of stash scraps were used in a baby quilt top and a quilt top measuring 66" by 77". Yeah!

Great scrappy! I just cut some muslin scraps up and had some 2 1/2" pieces...now I know how to use them. Thanks...

I am going to Vegas this weekend and my GF and I are planning to stop at the Christmas Goose. There might be a purchase in my future.

MadQuilter, love the Christmas Goose! They are always so friendly there. The shop in Henderson, Quiltique, is also very, very nice. Wish I were going with you!! Have a great time!

Thanks Linda. I don't know how far Henderson is from Vegas. My friend's husband isn't into her quilting hobby as mine is so it may be tough to fit in two LQS visits (and better for the pocket book).

MadQuilter, both are great shops. My husband really liked the one in Henderson. We are going back in May and I'm sure I will hit both of them. Anyone know of any others in the area?
